  1. I only read one book as well … but school is out for June so there’s that. : ) I read Onion John and it was interesting. Not sure what I expected, but after slugging through the first half I did end up enjoying it. 🙂

  3. We totally flopped this month with a big fat zero on books for the challenge! My hubby was traveling quite a bit for work this month (plus we had a trip out of town and lots of end of the year activities), so our read aloud routine felt “off”. I thought I might read one or two just for myself, but first DH suggested a history of computing book he really enjoyed…then my copy of Pioneer Girl finally arrived after I waited three months on the waiting list…so I had to dive right in and read that since I knew I wouldn’t be able to renew it. ;-). I’m more hopeful about June. We own a lot of 1970s books we haven’t read yet, so it is more likely to happen when the books are sitting right in front of us. 🙂
