    You make me feel convicted! I need to read to my 5 year old way more than I do, though I agree with you about Magic School House books. I believe those were made to torture parents!

    We enjoyed the picture book “Night Shift” by Jessie Hartland.
    It’s a neat, colorful book that creatively links the many jobs that are done at night time. (Radio DJ, Security Guard, Road Worker, Newspaper Printer, Donut Baker, etc…) Afterwards we brainstormed about other occupations not mentioned.

  5. Love this idea for a post! I’m sure I would be surprised at how much reading I do (or don’t do) between reading Bible study lessons, school work and read aloud. Fun idea. : )
