Happy Read Aloud Thursday! As you probably expected, today I have nothing. 🙂 We’re still in resting and recuperating mode, and while we have been reading individually, the only reading aloud I’ve done is reading the DLM some of his favorite books, most of which I’ve already highlighted here for RAT. Instead today I thought I’d share a little something with you that I made as a newlywed, back when I had oodles of free time and just didn’t know it. 😉
I made this for my mother, but it has since made its way back to the House of Hope as she has redecorated and I now have children of my own. I love the sentiment, don’t you? Obviously, we all feel this way, or we wouldn’t come back here, week after week, to share and be inspired.
So–what’s in your read aloud basket this week? Please share or link back to your blog in the comments!
(Oh, and here’s an honest confession that reveals probably too much about me as a housekeeper: we have virtually nothing hanging on our walls. I actually had to get this one out of the closet to photograph it. When we painted last spring, we mostly finished painting and then stopped. Our walls are bare, with the exception of a few things in the kitchen and one lone piece hanging over the piano. I have some artwork and pieces that I like; I just need to get it all together enough to actually use them!)
