I stopped in our library’s used bookstore on Friday, and boy, was I glad I did! I paid $14.05 for the haul you see above. I was tickled to find the stack of Ranger Rick magazines since the girls and I went searching for animal magazines a few weeks ago and found none. Those Zoobooks will be perfect for our continued animal study, too. And the Kids Discover magazines? Let’s just say that I’ve been known to study the catalog that lands in our mailbox periodically. 🙂
The bonus? I found a library bound copy of Paddle-to-the-Sea , a book I’m only acquainted with by hearsay as of yet, but I understand it will make a nice addition to our someday geographical study of the U.S. The price? $1.00!!! I threw in The Tall Book of Bible Stories because I thought it looked vintage-y and fun, and for 75 cents I could hardly go wrong.
I love my library! Where do you go to shop for out-of-this-world deals on books and such?
