  1. Enter me please!

What was I doing? I was at home with my first baby, she was about to turn 3 months old. We had no TV, so I got a phone call from my sister while I was nursing. She told me what was happening. Her hubby was a Reservist at the time and is now active duty by choice. She taped the news coverage that morning and I was able to watch it later.

I’d love to be entered for this too.

I had 9/11 off from work, and I was doing some light housework. My boyfriend (now my husband) called form work and told me to go plug in my t.v. (I owned one but stored it in my bedroom closet, only to be brought out for “emergencies”). I spent most of that day in front of the t.v. watching footage.

I was at my Niece’s house where I was helping her with my great-niece. They had all left for the day and I was alone. So I immiedately called my sister, who does not watch TV in the moring. We prayed for the people involved. Then I went for a dentist appt. and was “shocked” when another patient said ” Didn’t the pilots know they would be killed”. Well, YES, that was the idea, to become a martyr How sad for all…patiernt, misguided pilots, and all those in the towers and their families, and friends. And our Nation.
    Thanks for all you do.

  4. That sounds like a beautiful book! I was home with my children when I got a call from my husband, who was traveling and had been stranded in Little Rock when all the flights were grounded just after the first tower was hit.
