The next two weeks will be rather crazy around our house due to Steady Eddie’s plethora of work-related meetings, etc., so our menus will be rather flexible. I also hope that Monday we can take our first ever trip to the Christmas tree farm and pick out our very first real, live Christmas tree. I was inspired after reading of Monica’s family night Christmas tree activities on her blog, The Homespun Heart , so I have essentially copied her menu from her family’s post-Christmas tree hunting supper. This is what I’ve planned for this week:
Monday–French toast and link sausage arranged like a Christmas tree; eggs (maybe); orange juice
Tuesday–Steady Eddie and I are going to the church Christmas banquet, so the girls will probably eat with Nana
Wednesday–Panera Bread Broccoli Cheese soup; crackers
Thursday–chicken potpie; pinto beans (maybe)
Friday–leftovers or eat out
It’s already shaping up to be a very busy week!
